Tea, wood, and spirits. A trinity if we ever saw it and something that can really elevate your tea experience. So, what is it? To barrel age a tea you'll need a mini cask, your choice of spirit (whiskey, rum, and scotch have proven tasty), and either a black tea or a pu'er. Our experiments have concluded that green, white, yellow, and oolong teas are simply unsuited for the process. Let that not deter us from experimenting! There is certainly magic about to happen.
